Tim was a cab driver in Tucson, AZ. On March 5, 2008 he was shot to death- just 3 days after his 27th birthday. Three people were arrested in connection with this crime. I’m Tim’s mom, Dianna, and will be posting updates regarding Tim’s story and the progress of the legal proceedings.

Tim’s story was the subject of an episode of The First 48 on A&E. Tim’s senseless death touched and outraged many and I am grateful to you who have sent your love and support. I especially want to thank Bob for making this page possible. Bob saw the First 48 episode, registered this domain name, created this page and coached me in how to use it.

Here is a quick summary to date:

Three people were charged with first degree murder and armed robbery: Jessica Gallegos, 16; Marisela Pacheco, 30; and Ruben Archunde, 20.

In April of 2009, Gallegos pled guilty to Armed Robbery and was sentenced to 7 years.

In September, Pacheco pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and Armed Robbery and was sentenced to 22 years with no possibility of parole.

Archunde is still awaiting trial, which is scheduled to begin in March, 2010.
